Trip Day 3 - April 26 - Charlotte
Today's main activity was what this whole trip was about - seeing Taylor Tomlinson in Charlotte.
Other activities were going to visiting the 7th Street Market and going to "The Secret Chocolatier".
Coming in so late last night, I didn't get up early enough and wasn't ready until around 10:30. Then I noticed the PSI on the right rear tire down again, so called Hertz. They found a place to fix/change the tire and I drove there.
This took until 1 PM, so I missed planned activities of going to Amelie's French Bakery and riding on the Funny Bus, a comedy bus ride in Charlotte.
But then the Beast got a new paw then a washing.
There was an IKEA near the tire place. It was strangely enough on IKEA Boulevard. I had the Swedish meatballs. Also bought some night lights. I now have night lights from 3 countries - Holland, England, and the USA.
I drove to the 7th Street market and the returning Funny Bus was there. I passed up on the offer for a 3 PM ride, because I really wanted to go to The Secret Chocolatier.
The 7th Street Market was just a collection of small individual restaurants and I wasn't hungry - but had I been, I would have eaten at Serengetis - their Swahili Stew.
I bought a few things (dinner) at The Secret Chocolatier.
Since my car will be in the sun most of the day tomorrow without air, I didn't buy a lot. Just for me.
Went to the show in the evening at Bojangles and saw Taylor and opener Dustin Nickerson.
